Avlyst pga pandemi World Scout Moot Irland 2022 - verdensleir for rovere mellom 18 - 26 år
Rover Moot som opprinnelig var planlagt i Irland i 2021, men utsatt til 2022 er dessverre avlyst.

Dear Rovers:
In this exact moment, we should have already gathered at Basecamp in Malahide to celebrate the 16th World Scout Moot, to hear each other’s stories of our journeys so far, and to experience even more of what Ireland has to offer.
Unfortunately, the global pandemic has meant that this is not possible and, although the situation has improved in some parts of the world, we are still living in a world where COVID-19 actively interferes with our plans and our daily lives.
For that reason, it is with great sadness that we announce the decision that the 16th World Scout Moot has been cancelled.
We hope to meet again le chéile and really hope that you are able to join us on our emerald isle when restrictions are lifted and the real joy of international Scouting can be felt again.
The Moot Planning Team is so disappointed to make this announcement today. We had brilliant plans for programme, opportunities to uniquely explore Ireland and to challenge all of our global Rovers. However, the risks associated with running a large-scale international event, even next summer in 2022, were too large; the safety of all our participants, IST, CMT, planning team members and everyone else attending the Moot, however, is of paramount importance.
We ask for your continued support and patience as your contingent and the Moot wind down operations. More details will come in the weeks to follow.
We encourage NSOs to host local or national Rover events in 2022—so that our global Rovers can feel that sense of le chéile, even if it isn’t what we had all hoped.

Ny dato for rovermoot er 18. - 28. juli 2022.
Rovermoot er ein verdensleir for personar i alderen 18 – 26 år (du må være 18 år senest 18.juli , og ikke ha fylt 26 år). Dersom du er eldre kan du også vera med, men då gjennom det ein kallar IST (International Service Team). Ein reisar ikkje åleina, men saman med ein heil kontingent frå Noreg.
NB: Påmelding må skje direkte til Norges speiderforbund. Påmeldingen nedenfor er kun en uforpliktende interessepåmelding for Sandnesgauken roverlag.

“The theme for this Moot is Le Chéile (leh kay-la) which translates to “together” (saman). There is an old saying in the Irish language; “Ní neart go cur le chéile” which means “There is no strength without unity”. The moot will bring together thousands of Scouts from across the world, to share cultures, learn from each other and gain new skills. Our programme is based on collaboration; allowing us to be inclusive, educational and adventurous. As Scouts, each of us can, and must, make a positive difference in the world; Le Chéile our impact will be greater.
